We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, authorize the disclosure, or request an interaction that reasonably requires disclosure.
5. Sale and Targeted Advertising
Bloom & Reel does not sell or rent personal information.
Bloom & Reel does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or process personal information for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws.
Because we do not presently engage in these activities, there is no sale or targeted-advertising activity for Website visitors to opt out of.
If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent mechanism, or privacy choice required by applicable law before or when those practices begin.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Project inquiries that do not result in a client engagement are generally retained for no longer than 24 months following the last substantive communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for security, dispute-resolution, legal-compliance, or recordkeeping purposes.
Information connected to an active or former client relationship may be retained for the duration of the engagement and afterward as reasonably required by contractual, tax, accounting, insurance, legal, and business-record obligations.
Contracts, invoices, payment records, and related business records may be retained for up to seven years or for another period required by applicable law.
Built-in Website analytics are retained according to the retention period associated with our Base44 plan and platform configuration.
The applicable retention period may also depend on:
- The nature and status of an inquiry or business relationship
- Whether an inquiry results in a client engagement
- Contractual, tax, accounting, insurance, or legal requirements
- Applicable limitation periods
- The need to prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents
- Whether information is required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- Whether a legal hold or preservation obligation applies
Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted, de-identified, or securely disposed of in accordance with our applicable practices and legal obligations.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include access restrictions, HTTPS transmission, platform-level security controls, administrative-account protections, data-permission controls, spam-prevention measures, and security monitoring.
No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Although we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for using appropriate care when transmitting information electronically and for avoiding the submission of highly sensitive information through the Website.
8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

If we decline to take action on a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by emailing hello@bloomandreel.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal" and explaining the basis of your appeal.
We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may request reasonable documentation confirming the agent's authority and may separately verify your identity.
9. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers and extensions transmit privacy-preference signals, including Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track" signals.
Because Bloom & Reel does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising, there is no such processing to opt out of at this time.
If our practices change in a manner that legally requires us to recognize browser-based opt-out signals, we will implement appropriate measures and update this Privacy Policy.
The Website may not respond to other "Do Not Track" signals for which there is no uniform industry standard or legal requirement.
10. Children's Privacy
The Website and Bloom & Reel's services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information through the Website, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy notices and practices. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to a third party.
12. Processing in the United States
Bloom & Reel is based in the United States. Information collected through the Website may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in other jurisdictions.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Website, services, technology, vendors, business practices, or legal obligations.
When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
Changes will apply prospectively from their stated effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
